Hark is a passionate Full-Stack Developer, who builds clean, reliable software with a focus on user experience and delivery discipline. He joined SSW Newcastle through FireBootCamp, SSW's intensive, real-world training program for elite graduates, where he worked in a high-pressure, consultancy-style environment, building production-grade solutions using Angular, .NET, Clean Architecture, and Azure DevOps. After impressing the mentors and senior architects, he was invited to join SSW full-time.

Every month, SSW hosts the Brisbane Full Stack User Group, where developers come together to learn about the latest technologies from local and internationally renowned experts. Topics focus on .NET and other Microsoft technologies (Azure, DevOps, SharePoint, Power Platform, and more), full stack development (Angular, React, Blazor), and mobile apps with .NET MAUI (was Xamarin), as well as exciting opportunities to learn about the latest industry trends and even tips on presenting from world class speakers.

Gordon Beeming is a Solution Architect at SSW and a long-standing Microsoft MVP in Developer Technologies (since 2014), with a deep passion for DevOps and modern software delivery. Working with the Microsoft stack since .NET 2.0 and Azure DevOps since its early TFS days, he is a recognised authority on transforming teams both culturally and technically. He has co-authored books on TFS and agile project management, contributed to community guidance as a former ALM Ranger, and regularly shares his work and insights on his YouTube channel from his base in Brisbane, Australia.

What I am proposing is that we spend less time coding and more time developing skills in other areas that complement our coding skills. Become a better writer. Become a better speaker. Improve your personal skills. Participate in the community. Try to spend some time talking to people instead of the compiler. That's how you distinguish yourself from your peers. And that's ultimately how you become a better software developer, too.
